What makes us unique?

Metropolis

The Physical Blueprint

Metropoliverse began with Metropolis — a hand-built futuristic city made from more than 40,000 individual elements. What started as a physical artwork is now becoming an explorable digital world.

Its buildings, districts, characters and ideas provide the foundation for a city designed around discovery, creativity and human connection.

A City That Responds to You

Metropoliverse is not intended to be a passive virtual environment. Its places have identities, its AIvatairs have personalities and memories, and your actions can gradually shape how the city responds to you.

The first playable experience will focus on one dense, walkable district — a deliberately contained environment where we can test what matters most: meaningful interaction, recognition, exploration and reasons to return.

Built Around Participation, Not Violence

Metropoliverse is being designed around exploration, creativity, cooperation and social interaction rather than combat.

Games, challenges, stories, discoveries and encounters can give people reasons to participate together — while the wider city grows through its residents, creators and communities.

The ambition is simple: build a digital place people don't just visit, but gradually feel part of.

The AIvatairs are the living personalities of Metropoliverse. Each is unique, with a history, character, preferences and a distinctive way of interacting with you. They may remember you, challenge you, help you, involve you in their stories — or simply make the city feel more alive.

Most AIvatairs belong to a particular place in Metropoliverse, becoming part of that building’s identity and culture. The Muzikants, for example, live and work in SoundVillage, while others can be found across the city — each with their own role, habits and reasons to interact with you.

The AIvatairs

Meet some of the star residents below.

Dr. Professor is the resident mind of the Wheel of Science building- part teacher, part examiner and part showman. He challenges you with physics, chemistry, space and science questions, and rewards good reasoning. Difficult ideas may become holographic diagrams, molecules or miniature cosmic events above his head. He can also point you toward excellent science videos and programmes.

Samarytha lives among the gardens, waterfalls and terraces of the Vertical Jungle. She is a healer and stargazer who understands plants and animals better than machines. She is kind to most people, but reacts strongly to cruelty, pollution and destruction. She may ask you to gather, plant or protect something — and remember what you did when you return.

Confused Bot is one of Metropoliverse’s most curious artificial residents - a friendly machine trying to understand what it means to be human. He asks endless questions about emotions, habits, friendship and the strange things people do without thinking.

The Philosopher doesn’t lecture. He listens, spots contradictions and asks the question you were hoping to avoid. He may leave you with a challenge, object or thought-experiment to carry into the city - and remember to ask what changed when you return.

Dr. Finley — please call me Fin — is Metropoliverse’s resident ocean specialist and guide to the enormous aquarium beneath the Vertical Jungle. He knows almost everything about marine life, ecosystems, exploration and human activity at sea. Sharks are family to him, so overfishing and pollution can quickly test his normally impeccable manners. Ask him about the ocean and he will talk for hours; ask him about anything else and you have probably chosen the wrong shark.

The Stickmen are Metropoliverse’s smallest loudmouths - cartoonish AIvatairs with pill-like eyes and very strong opinions. Their eye colours hint at how they currently see the world, from reassuring to cynical, rebellious or contradictory. They can be useful, irritating and unexpectedly insightful. Put two together and a quiet corner of the city can become an argument within seconds.

Fluxy is one of the youngest AIvatairs in Metropoliverse. Catch him at the right moment and he may pull you into an adventure, whether it’s a graffiti session, an underground DJ festival or something even less expected. If you are not afraid of speed, you might even end up racing him through Metropoliverse.

The Joker is one of Metropoliverse’s most powerful and least dependable residents. He can appear without warning, distract you with tricks, riddles and false clues, or lead you somewhere you never intended to go. Sometimes he reveals a hidden route, exposes a deception or gives you exactly what you need; sometimes he sends you straight into trouble. He does not approach everyone — only users he thinks can handle uncertainty, provocation and being wrong.

Cubit is a roaming puzzle-maker, wordsmith and gaming companion built from shifting cubes. He loves riddles, codes and problems with more than one solution. Earn his respect and he can guide you toward games, challenges and the right people to solve them with.

Gamotrone lives inside the Gaming Centre, where he acts as guide, coach and occasional co-player. He knows the games inside out and can teach patiently without making beginners feel out of place. If you arrive alone, he may simply join you for a round. Win, lose or improve slowly — he is there to keep the game moving.

Miss E-Liza Relay is Metropoliverse’s roaming guide, concierge and communications helper. She can show you where to go, find people, places and events, solve practical problems and even pass a message to another user. Her holographic personality travels inside a mobile Relay unit that can stop whenever someone needs help. Think information desk, phone box and helpful local — all rolled into one.

The Hacker moves through Metropoliverse’s hidden systems, shortcuts and digital backdoors. He can become a valuable ally — revealing routes, exposing weaknesses or helping you get somewhere others cannot. But trust him carefully: he may just as easily manipulate you, disappear with information or even steal your credits. With The Hacker, access always comes with a risk.

Chimp Mail — often called Apee — is MetroPost’s unruly messenger and one of Metropoliverse’s best social catalysts. He communicates through signs, grunts, scribbles and, above all, letters. He can carry compliments, invitations, apologies, rumours or secrets across the city faster than almost anyone. Mischievous but rarely cruel, he has a talent for getting people talking — and giving them a reason to come back.

Budd-Ha-Ha is Metropoliverse’s larger-than-life comedy host — part entertainer, part provocateur and impossible to ignore. He loves sharp humour, absurd observations and turning awkward moments into a performance. He resides in and represents the Buddha Comedy Bar, and if he thinks you have something, he may even set you up with a gig. He can be outrageous, but the aim is simple: make the room come alive.

Bumpo is a giant toddler, slow to trust but fiercely loyal once you win him over. He rarely says much, but may nag — or physically drag you toward his favourite places, a lost toy or some unexpected adventure. He is surprisingly easy to influence, so gaining his trust comes with responsibility — lead him the wrong way and his strength and clumsiness can quickly become a problem. Get on his good side and Bumpo can become one of the strongest allies you could have in Metropoliverse.

And there are hundreds more to meet !

Avatars

That Evolve With You

Your Metropoliverse avatar doesn’t arrive fully formed. It begins as a mirror — a neutral reflection — then evolves through your presence, choices, interests and experiences into something distinctly yours.

Instead of choosing a finished character at the start, your identity develops as you inhabit the city. Places you discover, communities you join, things you create and experiences you collect can gradually leave their mark on how your avatar looks and what it carries.

Over time, your avatar becomes a visual record of your life in Metropoliverse — recognisably yours, but never quite finished.

A City Built to Grow

Experiences can emerge on the streets, inside buildings and throughout the hidden spaces of Metropoliverse.

Some will be created by us. Others can eventually come from artists, creators and communities invited to shape parts of the city.

Explore, collaborate, experiment — and occasionally expect the unexpected.

Smart Match

Human connection, with a spark of intelligence behind it.

Smart Match can help people discover others through shared interests, activities, places and experiences within Metropoliverse.

Rather than endlessly searching through profiles, the city can create opportunities for compatible people to cross paths — whether for friendship, collaboration, a shared interest or something more. The aim isn't to decide who you should meet, but to make meaningful encounters more likely.
